Ghita Erling
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Ghita has more than 20 years of experience in Corporate and Retail Banking ranging across relationship management, operations, strategy, product, innovation and payments with a bias towards transforming and building roles.
In her last role, she was responsible for building out and operationalising the payments systems for the Discovery Bank start-up. She has served as a director on the boards of BankservAfrica and SBV Services and has been a regular speaker on payments topics.
She has a master’s degree in Engineering and a diploma in flute performance. In her spare time, she serves on the Board of a conservation NGO and plays in amateur orchestras and small groups whenever she gets the chance.
Ghita is of the view that developing people is the most lasting impact she can make on the business world: structures and businesses can change quickly, but confident and effective people will be valued wherever they go.
