Programme Overview
Responding to a clear demand within the payments industry, PASA Academy is now offering the “Introduction to Payments” programme. This online-only, entry-level learning initiative consists of seven comprehensive modules designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge of payment concepts. Participants will explore the basics of payment concepts, identify key stakeholders in the payments ecosystem, and understand message flows across various payment systems.

- Module 2 – National Payment System (NPS) Basics
- Module 3 – Payment System Concepts
- Module 4 – Clearing and Settlement
- Module 5 – NPS Stakeholders
- Module 6 – Payment Systems in South Africa
- Module 7 – Innovation and Modernisation in the Payments Industry
Enhance your learning experience with interactive quizzes designed to test your understanding of each module. With no need for lengthy assignments or virtual sessions, you can progress at your own pace over a seven-week period. Upon completion, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion through our learner management system.
