PIPC 2025 – Shaping the future of payments, together
The PASA International Payments Conference (PIPC) 2025 is fast approaching, taking place on 16-17 October at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
Now a firm fixture in the payments industry calendar, it signifies the power of collaboration and the importance of creating spaces where we can unite to share, challenge and innovate.
PIPC is more than just an event. It’s a platform for progress – and this year’s gathering is set to be our most impactful yet.
Attendee benefits
PIPC 2025 will deliver 18 hours of compelling content over two days, covering a broad range of topics in the form of presentations, on-stage interviews and panel discussions.
In that time, around 80 speakers will share their expertise with close to 780 attendees – it’s our biggest concentration of thought leadership under one roof to date.
With networking breaks during the day and social gatherings at the end of both days, delegates will be able to network with industry peers, experts and influencers, as well as potential clients, partners and investors.
Speakers and themes
We have invited sought-after speakers from around South Africa and the world to share their expertise across payments, legislation and regulation, cybersecurity, risk management, financial crime and money laundering prevention, digital technology and AI, geopolitical trends and analysis, customer and market developments and more.
But PIPC is not just about listening; it’s about engaging. So, the conversations we will be driving are designed to challenge conventional thinking and spark new ideas through one-on-one interviews and panel discussions.
There will be tough questions to ponder, discuss and debate. How do we future-proof our payment systems? What does trust look like in a digital-first world? How can we ensure that innovation leads to inclusion, not exclusion?
Invitation to media
The media allows us to reach out beyond the conference walls, so we are excited to have renowned news personalities, Heidi Giokos and Zikhona Tshona, in attendance. Nastassia Arendse will be our MC and on-stage interviewer.
I would also like to extend an invitation to media representatives who wish to join us, with the opportunity to interview our speakers.
I look forward to seeing all our participants this year.
